What Customers Are Saying About The Hoover WindTunnel Canister Vacuum
- “First of all, I have a “Marley” dog who is a shedding machine. I hate dog fur more than anything, and I needed a vacuum that would pick up a Labrador Retrievers hair. They are like hairs sticking to Velcro, and no other vacuum could even touch the hairs on my carpet. However, the Hoover WindTunnel Canister vacuum picks up every single hair – it is unbelievable. It also blows out clean, fresh smelling air…which is such a pleasure! I love all of the attachments too! I really think the Hoover WindTunnel Canister vacuum is worth the money and seems like a much more upscale vacuum then its price lets on!”
- “Hoover has refined their bagged canister vacuum, and this one tops an $800.00 competitor’s I’ve given up on! The Hoover WindTunnel Canister vacuum is a gorgeous lightweight powerhouse with a cord finally long enough to reach more than one room. The wand adjusts quickly and easily; ditto for the release from the Power Nozzle. I’m a petite gal and this vacuum follows me around like a pet poodle. The motor on the Hoover WindTunnel Canister vacuum is quieter than others I’ve owned, but doesn’t sacrifice any power. I’m using a low setting for my carpets and am impressed with the results. Storage of the unit requires minimal space as well. If this were a man, I’d marry it!”
- “I had my 3 and 1/2 year old twin granddaughters over for Halloween. Their costumes had a lot
of glitter that was all over my furniture and carpet. I thought the clean up would involve my sitting on the ground for hours with a tweezers to pick up all of the glitter! Instead, I used the Hoover WindTunnel Canister vacuum on high suction and it got all of it with no hassle. Thank you Hoover.”
However, some customers are not satisfied with The Hoover WindTunnel Canister Vacuum
- “From 3 Stars to 1: About 8 months to a year after the purchasing the Hoover WindTunnel Canister Vacuum, the retractable cord started to have issues, and there seemed to be a power-connection problem too. This year the handle (or wand), which was my favorite feature because it moves up and down has broken somewhere, and it won’t hold a new position. Suction isn’t good anymore, and the bag changing is frequent and messy. Finally, while initially I felt it gave me more freedom in ease of use, it actually is a royal pain to maneuver anywhere: frequently tips over, and pivotal hose difficult to pivot.”
- “We’ve experienced the exact same thing as a lot of other posters – this is the worst vacuum that I’ve ever purchased. The handle broke twice from the cheap plastic and then something happened with the electrical system. All of this within 6 months. Bottom line is the vacuum is sexy, but don’t plan on actually using it. Hoover is off the list forever!”
- “The Hoover WindTunnel Canister vacuum broke down after approximately 4 months of light use (1-bedroom apartment, mostly on weekends): the ‘bag full’ light stopped working, the brushroll stopped working and the vacuum would operate only at the lower speed only, with a highly diminished “sucking” strength.”
