Manufacturing Engineer:
1995 – 2000
· Design tools and fixtures for new designs.
· Design tools and fixtures for old designs to aid in production.
· Design various equipment for production uses.
· Work with maintenance on new equipment design and implementation.
· Work with molding department to develop new and improved mold
designs.
· Work with machinists to incorporate required mold designs.
· Create new mold designs and drawings.
· Evaluate / recommend new equipment for production.
· Work with Production employees to alleviate assembly problems.
Note:
Saved the company thousands of dollars by choosing equipment that was more
efficient, and easier maintained than previous equipment. Reduced
work related injuries, labor time in units and order-to-delivery time by
searching for equipment to aid the various departments. Swiftly solved
problems by finding equipment to relieve work related injuries due to repetitive
stresses, reduce labor time, and increase product reliability. This
has saved thousands of production hours as well as money saved from possible
lawsuits and injuries.
Sales Manager: October
2000 – 2002
· Multiple managerial responsibilities.
· Track sales and marketing efforts.

· Coordinate deliveries with production schedules and capabilities.
· Establish better sales and marketing methods for entire department.
Note:
Within 1 year in the sales office for Custom, the sales have gone from
two years of selling $3.0 million dollars to two consecutive years of $4.0
million dollars. I have negotiated several multiple year contracts
with new customers, while regaining past customers. The customer
base has grown 25%.
CAD Systems Coordinator:
1994 - Current
· Evaluate new CAD software & software upgrades for CAD.
· Teach others how to use our CAD software
· Use CAD to generate drafting level drawings.
· Troubleshoot CAD software and hardware.
· Order CAD Supplies, computers and software
· Set-up and install CAD software, hardware and computers.
Note:
Saved the company approximately $20,000 by choosing a software that is
adequate for their needs, without the un-needed functions.
Web Master: 1997 - Current
· Create, design, update, maintain and promote the company's web
site http://www.customelec.com
· Designed all graphics for the web site.
· Established domain name to allow growth and avoid problems in
the future with changing e-mail
· Established multiple e-mail address system for company and its
employees.
· Interact with the Internet Provider to reduce costs and achieve
higher level of service.
· Advertise the company web site extensively (with almost no cost
to the company!).
· Established an extensive link program.
· Maintain and redesign entire site as needed. Develop techniques
to gain site "hits" and visits.
Note:
With a cash outlay of less than $10,000.00, I have generated approximately
$500,000.00 per year of business with new customers due to the web site.
IT Administrator:
1994 - Current
· Determine need for, quote, purchase, install, upgrade, maintain
and teach the uses of networks and operating system platforms.
· Work with technical support groups to insure the best choice of
hardware and software for the company.
· Set-up P.C.'s throughout the plant and modernize data collection
capabilities.
· Establish best means of communication for various systems; Win
95, Win 98, Win NT 4.0, Win 2K Pro, Win XP, and AS/400.
· Write, maintain, and control security for Access Databases and
Excel Spreadsheets
· Determine proper back-up media and technologies to safeguard the
company documents and perform regular back ups.
· Continually learn newest technologies of the computer industry,
to insure that the latest hardware and software items are installed.
· Establish and maintain a complete, company wide network on multiple
platforms.
· Install new hardware, including memory, video cards, controller
boards, and hard drives.
Notes: Created multiple,
complex databases for CEI, which shares data via a network with various
departments, thus increasing efficiency and reducing errors. The
Engineering, Production, Executive, Sales, R&D, Purchasing, Inventory
Control and Shipping departments have enjoyed the use of free data exchange,
and thus enabled the company to operate efficiently with fewer employees.
